There are several ways you can help our school community:
Annual Appeal: You can save paper (and trees!) by making a donation to our Annual Appeal online, via Paypal. Click the button below to direct you to Paypal’s secure site. After setting up a personal account, you have the option to transfer money directly from your bank account or to pay with a major credit card.
Donate Goods or Services: One of the core values Seven Generations was founded upon is sustainability. As we identify needs we see what we can reuse, recycle or repurpose, including furniture, equipment, school supplies and material for student projects. If you have household or business items that might be useful to the school, or if you can provide professional services or consulting expertise, let us know!
Donate a Book to Seven Generations’ Library in Honor of Your Child: If you are looking for a way to honor your child on his/her birthday, or would like to commemorate a special occasion, consider donating a book to the library in his/her name! You could choose a favorite story and write an inscription inside or browse the Library Wish List at Amazon.com for ideas. The Library Committee maintains a list of popular student requests, new fiction, nonfiction and books related to teachers’ EIC unit topics. To view the Library Wish List, click on the Amazon.com button in the Merchant Partners section of our website (a portion of all sales will go directly to Seven Generations if you link through our website), click the “Wish List” button on Amazon’s home page and type “seven generations” in the search engine.
Financial Donations or Corporate Sponsorship: Interested parents, friends, relatives, businesses or organizations may make a tax-deductible contribution to help further Seven Generation’s mission and provide our students with an innovative, rewarding educational experience.
Parents are always welcome to donate their time by joining a committee; assisting teachers in the classroom or on field trips; becoming a classroom coordinator; participating in monthly Saturday work days; staffing various events, or sharing an area of expertise or talent with the students.
If you can contribute in any way, please contact either your child’s teacher or a committee chairperson about volunteer opportunities. For financial donations or donations of goods or services, contact the office for more information.
