Seven Generations Charter School Ribbon Cutting

Seven Generations Charter School officially cut the ribbon to their brand new learning campus on May 10, 2023 and the three year renovation project and addition of a new SGCS gym is complete.

With the partnership of Skepton Construction and Alloy 5 Architecture, the vision and mission of Seven Generations Charter School was able to come alive in the new building. Through the renovation of the former Rodale Publishing building, SGCS was able to utilize sustainable building practices throughout this new space. From floor to ceiling, the team chose products that met sustainability standards, utilized recyclable materials, and were ecologically responsible.

Seven Generations Charter School was also recently awarded the Excellence in Education Award presented by the Energy and Environment Committee for the sustainable building practices of the building. Students met at the Sustainability Summit to receive the award, talk to business leaders around the Lehigh Valley and learn about environmental issues affecting our area.
