Mandy Suro

Community Engagement Manager

I currently live in Upper Macungie Township with my two daughters, Anna and Molly. After graduating from the University of Delaware with a degree in Elementary and Special Education, I moved all over the country teaching Kindergarten through Middle School in a variety of instructional settings.

I originally discovered Seven Generations for my own children and immediately fell in love with the mission, vision and values the school embodies. I knew immediately that this would be my forever home as well. I love the child-centered philosophies of Seven Generations Charter School. The freedom to be creative and develop meaningful, experiential learning while meeting the needs of each individual student is something I always valued as an educator. I am excited to now be able to take the school I fell in love with and share it with the greater community. This truly is a special community to be a part of and I am thrilled to be able to share in the growth and development of our school.

Through this new position at SGCS, I will be working on the marketing, communications, PR and development side of the organization. I am thrilled to be able to tell our story to our community, our future families and the various community partners that help our students learn in and about the community.

What is it like to work at Seven Generations?

When working at Seven Generations Charter School, I am inspired daily. The inquisitive students are eager to take their learning and make a difference in their community, the staff goes above and beyond to meet the needs of every unique learner and the entire leadership team works to build an organization that our community can be proud to be a part of.
