Diana has known since childhood that she wanted to become a teacher and make a difference in the lives of children. She graduated from Montclair State University in New Jersey in 2005 with dual certifications in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.

After starting her family, Diana worked as a lead teacher for Head Start at Community Services for Children in Allentown while earning her master’s degree in education. In 2010, when her son was ready for kindergarten, she discovered Seven Generations Charter School and immediately connected with its mission and community. After earning her Reading Specialist certification, she joined the Seven Generations family in 2011 as a reading specialist before moving into a fourth-grade classroom the following year. She spent the next seven years helping students grow as confident learners while building lasting relationships with families and colleagues.

During the 2020–2021 school year, Diana embraced the challenge of becoming Seven Generations’ first virtual educator, providing students and families with a high-quality remote learning experience during an unprecedented time.

In 2021, Diana became the school’s first Instructional Coach. In this role, she partners with teachers across all grade levels, providing instructional coaching, mentorship, and ongoing support to strengthen teaching and learning throughout the school. Her favorite part of the job is collaborating with educators and being part of so many different classroom communities.
