Emily Palmieri

Guest Teacher

Emily grew up in Bridgewater, NJ. She moved to Palmer Township, PA in 2004, Breinigsville in 2008 and her current home in Allentown in 2010.

Emily has worked with children in various capacities since the age of 12: Mother’s Helper, Babysitter, Daycare worker, Corporate Childcare Teacher, Before & After School Program Supervisor, Camp Counselor, Teacher, Swim Coach, Parent Volunteer in classrooms and the school library, and Substitute Teacher.
She attended Raritan Valley Community College (AA in Liberal Arts), Northampton Community College, and East Stroudsburg University (BS in Early Childhood Education).

Emily was drawn to Seven Gen while looking into Kindergarten options for her daughter. She admired the school’s philosophy, commitment to sustainability, hands-on learning approach, and outdoor classroom ideas.

In her spare time, Emily enjoys spending time with her family: husband Jeff, and kids Will (b. 2000), Emma (b. 2002), Ruby (b. 2011), and Leo (b. 2014). She likes being outdoors for hiking, camping, bike riding, Mommy Boot Camp workouts, and swimming. She started swimming competitively at age 6, and most recently completed the 1.5-mile open water swim at Lake Nockamixon in mid-July.
She’s interested in all things environmental, sustainable, and eco-friendly!
