Tatiana Galota was born and raised in northeast New Jersey, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology with a concentration in criminal justice. She worked for two years in the Division of Youth and Family Services in New Jersey. Shortly after getting married, Mrs. Galota and her husband ventured off to South Florida, where she worked for two years at the Broward County Sheriff’s Office. Eventually, Mrs. Galota changed careers and began a new journey as a first-grade teacher; she moved to a kindergarten classroom in a Catholic school. Then she and her family moved to Pennsylvania, where Mrs. Galota returned to school for her master’s degree and teaching certification in early childhood education.
Mrs. Galota substituted in many different districts, including Seven Generations Charter School. Here, Mrs. Galota realized how teaching and learning could be so hands-on and how the community and environment can make such a positive impact on teaching and learning. She joined our second-grade teaching staff in 2015.
Mrs. Galota cherishes her free time with her husband, daughter, son, cute kitty Lily and her big pup Charlie! They enjoy going on what her children call “adventures” such as camping, going to museums, community parks, or wherever the wind takes them. She is very excited to continue her journey at Seven Gen!
